Originally we had a 2 night reservation at another hotel (paid in full). My husband went to check in and it was one issue after another on top of the place being absolutely filthy. My husband said there was no way we were staying there. We drove around a little bit trying to find something that wouldn't cost us an outrageous amount since we just wanted a little family staycation. After almost an hr of driving and looking places up on our phones we stopped at the Fairfield. It was pure luck! Shout out to Curt & April for going above and beyond helping my family get a room for 2 nights during the State Fair when everything was booked and over priced. The breakfast was by far, the best one I've ever had at a hotel and the waffles were better than most resturants.
Beautiful hotel room with more than what we needed--wish all our rooms were like this. Exuberant greeting. Given a free upgrade. 5 am concierge offered fruit and beverages for us to take along as we left before opening hours. Would definitely stay again when in the area!

No complaints about the room. Breakfast was fine, but not as many options as others free hotel breakfasts. Gym is tiny. Friendly staff. Lots of free parking. The location is a bit far from downtown, and for the number of hotels in the area we expected more restaurants around. We would stay here again if the price was right.

I am a Bonvoy member and This hotel is by far nicer than the courtyard marriott in downtown Syracuse. April is excellent at accommodating your needs as well as being a fabulous host overall. The complimentary breakfast was excellent. The room was clean and seemed quite new. The bathroom also seemed new. I am a picky person when it comes to the shower caulking. The shower here was perfectly caulked. I couldn't find anything to complain about and would definitely return as well as recommend this hotel.
We had a wonderful stay at this newer facility with our kids. The front desk service was outstanding check-in was quick, and the staff was warm and welcoming. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, with a spotless, well-stocked bathroom. We were even given bottled water at check-in. The breakfast was the best we’ve had so far, and we enjoyed our stay so much. While it felt a little overpriced, the comfy beds and overall experience make this our go-to place whenever we’re in town. Highly recommend!
Excellent stay! The friendliest and most accommodating staff! Excellent breakfast buffet with many fresh, delicious and well-stocked options. Hands-down the best breakfast we've ever had at a Fairfield Inn. The room was very clean, the beds were very comfortable and regulating the temperature in the room was easy to do. Overall, an excellent experience! Location was nice and quiet and is about a 15-minute drive to Syracuse University. We would definitely book again when in the area.
